What makes Novéry so special is precisely this legible superimposition of two architectural souls: the 15th-century medieval main building, still imbued with military rigour, and the 17th-century additions that soften the corners, introduce elaborate dormer windows and stone mullioned windows, signs of the gradual gentrification of the seigneurial residence.
