Built at the very end of the 18th century, on the eve of the French Revolution, this mansion reveals the quiet grandeur of a still prosperous provincial aristocracy, enamoured of French taste and antique sobriety. What distinguishes the building at first glance is the skilful balance of its west facade, facing the park: two end pavilions frame a slightly recessed central body, where two engaged Ionic columns support an elegant entablature. Above, an open loggia on the first floor invites you to contemplate the foliage, while an Italian-style roof, bordered by a stone balustrade, crowns the whole with aristocratic discretion. The Italian influence - so dear to Bordeaux architects in the second half of the 18th century - is evident in every detail.
